SS24 Apparel: Staff Picks

We recently launched our latest camping apparel collection with fresh new colorways, technical materials and quintessential Japanese silhouettes. The Spring Summer 2024 line includes longtime favorites like Flexible Insulated and Takibi, as well as new additions like the GORE-TEX Rain series. We turned to two members of our flagship retail team in Portland, Oregon, for their take on the new collection and the standout pieces that caught their eye.

What's your most worn Snow Peak apparel item?

Malik B. My most worn snow peak item is the Octa Jacket. I love the crossover between function and style. Being incredibly warm for its weight, it meets all the technical specs I want from a jacket, all while looking great stylistically.

What new styles are you excited about from the SS24 collection?

It’s hard to find things I’m not excited about. I like seeing some staple styles elevated through the years and getting better each season. A few that have really stood out to me are the Toned Trout capsule collection, along with the Polyester Power Dry line. Again, seeing the execution of function and style is always the crossover I desire. Great pieces for the specific needs, while the versatility to be worn by anyone.

"My favorite and probably most-worn Snow Peak apparel item has to be the Takibi Denim Jacket from the Autumn Winter 2020 collection. It easily integrates into any of my outfits and has slowly started to fade, which makes it feel more and more like a personalized garment."

What's your most-worn Snow Peak apparel item?

Connor M. My favorite and probably most-worn Snow Peak apparel item has to be the Takibi Denim Jacket from the Autumn Winter 2020 collection. It easily integrates into any of my outfits and has slowly started to fade, which makes it feel more and more like a personalized garment. It’s also fire-resistant, making it a great item to wear on camping trips while I’m sitting around the Takibi.

What new styles are you excited about from the SS24 line?

Connor M. I’m excited for the new Takibi Weather Cloth Vest. It takes the utility-driven design of our iconic Takibi Vest but with more ventilation for summer camping trips and additional pockets to store tools or snacks. I’ll be picking one up for future camping trips and Portland store events.
