Summer Fun with Snow Peak

From camping in the Redwood forest to flyfishing in the Catskills, we’ve had a full and exciting summer connecting with new friends and longtime Snow Peakers. Together with our partners, ambassadors and retailers, we’ve brought Snow Peak experiences to life across the country. Read reflections from some of our event partners and mark your calendars for what’s coming next!

Snow Peak x Satisfy at Cocodona, The Ranch and Portland LSD Run
- Reflections by Frederick G. Satisfy Brand Experience Lead

This summer has definitely felt like the summer of Snow Peak. Partnering with the brand has been a natural fit, the gear elevated the entire experience at The Ranch, from lounging at our home base to setting up mobile aid stations deep into our long runs. You could tell it made a real difference in keeping everyone comfortable and supported.

After countless emails and calls coordinating The Ranch, Cocodona, and LSD, it was great to connect with the team in person for LSD Portland. It was beautiful running through Forest Park and seeing such a positive response from the running community there. I feel like these kinds of in-person moments really help strengthen the relationships and community we’re both working to build.

Portland Japanese Garden Pop-Up

Whether you’re a Portland local or visiting from out of town, don’t miss the Portland Japanese Garden this summer. Stroll along the shaded paths, marvel at the tranquil beauty and take in the views of the city. Check out the Snow Peak installation in the courtyard outside the cafe, where you can pause and enjoy a drink or chat with friends under the shade of a Hexa Evo Tarp.

Peak Cafe with Snow Peak Ambassador Erik Lauchie/Smells Like Outside
- Reflections by Erik Lauchie

On a warm Saturday in July, we curated a café experience in the park with Smells Like Outside, Feinated, and Snow Peak. The purpose was to give people a simple place to connect with nature and enjoy quality coffee. Using a setup and intentional design, we served espresso and honey lattes in a natural setting. It was another opportunity to enjoy and vibe in nature.

Usal Redwoods Retreat

In May, Usal (led by one of our Snow Peak Ambassadors Michael Washington) hosted its first-ever Usal Redwoods Camping Retreat in the Santa Cruz Mountains. They gathered 60+ guests for three days of immersive camping under the redwood trees.

The event was their largest to-date, and they utilized Snow Peak gear throughout the weekend for an added layer of functionality, comfort and visual aesthetic. Ivory Amenity Domes housed most guests, and campers gathered in a Land Station for communal moments. Stay updated on other Usal events here.

Catskills Fly Fishing Campout
- Reflections by Yui Uchida, Snow Peak USA Chief Brand Officer

We’re grateful to have hosted our first fly fishing camp in the Catskills—where American fly fishing began. At the heart of this landscape is the Catskill Fly Fishing Center & Museum, a place that preserves the rich history and soul of the sport. We thank the museum team for their generous support and warm collaboration. From longtime Snow Peak campers to first-timers, from those new to both camping and fly fishing to guests who traveled hours to join us—we deeply appreciate each and every participant. Sharing this moment together was truly meaningful. In the quiet flow of the river and the stillness of the woods, many found a new way to connect with nature.

We are grateful to learn alongside our New York community. Every campfire, every conversation, and every cast teach something new—about the outdoors, about our gear, and about how people connect with nature. Our goal is to grow together and create experiences that reflect what we're learning as a community. - Jacob Finau, Brooklyn Store Assistant Manger
