
Monte Cristo Sandwich
Sweet, savory, and crispy, this Monte Cristo sandwich is a simple breakfast that’s perfect for mornings at camp. Using the Snow Peak Tramezzino over a Flat Burner, white bread is layered with raspberry jam, ham, and melted American cheese, then pressed and toasted until golden. It’s an easy meal that everyone loves, especially kids! Best of all, it cooks quickly on your IGT setup without the mess. Enjoy it fresh off the grill with a hot cup of coffee and the calm of the outdoors.
- 2 slices of wide white bread
- Raspberry Jam
- Ham
- American cheese

Heat Tramezzino on medium high heat using the Flat Burner.Spreadthebutterevenly on both sides of Tramezzino, then lower the heat to medium.Cut bread to fit a Tramezzino slot and place it in each sloton the sandwich press.Spread jam evenly on the bread, stack it with a slice of ham and then a slice of cheese.Stack another slice of bread on top (spread jam on the top bread slice if you prefer a sweeter flavor).Press the top of the Tramezzino down and lock it at the end of the handle.Cook on medium for a minute and flip the Tramezzino to cook on the other side.Check every minute toavoidburningthe bread. Lower the heat to low/medium if needed.The sandwich is done whenthe breadis a toasty golden color. Enjoy while hot and repeat the process for more servings! |
