Snow Peak Seattle Grand Opening Recap
Snow Peak Seattle is officially open after a full weekend of celebrations. First and foremost, we’d like to thank our dedicated Snow Peakers, ambassadors, Seattle neighbors, and friends of the brand who joined us. The energy and enthusiasm from our new community was unmatched. We were also honored to welcome Snow Peak’s Chairman & CEO Tohru Yamai and President & COO Taka Minaguchi, who joined us for the weekend’s festivities.
On Friday, we gathered for a media hour and community reception to celebrate the opening. Straightaway Cocktails delivered delicious beverages, while Komonegi offered tasty bites throughout the evening. On Saturday morning, we were greeted by a line of Snow Peakers, some of whom had arrived at 6 am to secure their spot!
After a ceremonial ribbon-cutting with our executive team and retail leaders, our doors officially opened for the day. Despite the early morning for some, the excitement continued well into the afternoon. A special thank you to our partners, Open On Most Days, who joined us to offer coffee and refreshments, and Komonegi, who returned to provide food.
About the Store
At 3524 StoneWay, Snow Peak Seattle is located in the bustling Fremont neighborhood. As part of the evo CornerStone Campus, we’re surrounded by like-minded brands and a community of outdoor people. The store offers dedicated space for each of Snow Peak’s product categories – tents and shelters, cookware, lightweight gear and titanium, apparel, and IGT.
The space brings the outdoors in, with ample natural light, warm wood details, and earthen tones inspired by nature. We hope to not only be a source of quality outdoor gear and apparel, but a gathering place for outdoor lovers to connect. Further, with Long Beach Campfield only a few hours away and ample outdoor recreation spaces nearby, we can serve as a launch point for campers heading out for a weekend away.
