Crunchy Ground Beef Tacos

Everyone will love the satisfying crunch of these hard-shell tacos. The simple ingredients offer a nostalgic flavor that brings to mind the lazy summer evenings of childhood. Top with your hot sauce of choice for an extra punch.   • 2 lbs ground beef or pork 
  • Romaine lettuce, chopped 
  • 1 onion, chopped 
  • 2-3 Roma diced tomatoes 
  • Taco seasoning packet 
  • Shredded cheese of choice 
  • Sour cream 
  • Hot sauce of choice 
  • Hard-shell tortillas  





Heat your Home & Camp Cookset pan over medium heat. Once hot, add a little oil, then add onions and cook until they begin to turn translucent. About 5 minutes. Next, add the ground beef. Allow to brown and break into pieces with a spatula. Add the taco seasoning. Cook until no longer pink, about 10 minutes. While the beef is cooking, chop lettuce, onion, and tomatoes and set aside until ready to serve. When the meat is finished, assemble your tacos in the hard-shell tortillas and top them with lettuce, tomatoes, and shredded cheese. Add a scoop of sour cream and a dash of hot sauce, then enjoy that crunchy first bite!
