After several months of closure due to COVID-19, we will be opening our retail locations on a limited scale. Our Portland store will be open for phone orders, curbside pickup and in-store shopping with a six-customer capacity from 12pm to 6pm, Thursday through Sunday. Additionally, our Portland store will be offering one-on-one shopping by appointment from Monday to Wednesday between 10am and 5pm. As of Monday, June 22nd our Soho store is open for phone orders, curbside pickup and in-store shopping with a four-person customer capacity from Monday-Friday 12-6pm and Saturday-Sunday 12-6pm. Additionally, one-on-one shopping by appointment and virtual consultations Monday through Thursday.
Our team will be doing everything in their power to create a safe environment for customers. We’re navigating these new challenges together, and we appreciate your collaboration as we welcome you back into our stores. We know these last few months have been challenging for many of you, and while there may be more difficulties ahead, we hope visiting our stores offers a chance to plan for adventures and fun times ahead.
In addition, we’re offering a new service: individual shopping consultations, by appointment only.
Snow Peak Portland: Customers can book virtual or in-store one-on-one shopping consultations. Appointments will provide additional insights into gear and apparel from Snow Peak staff. Virtual appointments are available 7 days a week, and in-store consultations are available Monday-Wednesday from 10am to 5pm. Book your appointment here.
Snow Peak Soho: Customers can book one-on-one store appointments and virtual shopping consultations for support and insights on gear and apparel from Snow Peak staff. Appointments can be booked Monday through Thursday. Book your appointment here.
Below we’ve outlined the steps our staff will be taking and the new guidelines for customers visiting the store.
Snow Peak Staff:
Staff will wear face-masks and gloves when the store is open.
Staff will be taking extra sanitizing measures including:
Sanitation of all high touch areas (doorknobs, banisters, cash register, cash wrap, hang bars, tables, dressing rooms).
Sanitizing the cash register screen and card reader after each transaction to ensure cleanliness for the next guest.
Sanitization of touch-points in customer facing areas before closing and opening each day.
Snow Peak Customers:
Customers will be encouraged to practice social distancing whenever possible. The store will have social distancing markers to encourage spatial awareness.
Customers will need to wear a mask when entering the store. If a customer does not have a face covering, we will provide disposable ones for free.
Customers are encouraged to utilize sanitizing stations when entering the store and interacting with merchandise.
Customers will be allowed to try on apparel, and returns will be accepted. Staff will ensure apparel that has been tried on will be properly sanitized.
Customers will be encouraged to use the chip reader at check-out and avoid cash payments when possible.
