Snow Peak Way NY 2025

We recently held our first Snow Peak Way of 2025 in Tannersville, New York. Yui Uchida, our chief brand officer and longtime New Yorker, joined the campout and shared his reflections from the weekend.

Camping isn’t easy for most New Yorkers. Nature feels distant—both physically and emotionally. Small apartments, no car, little outdoor experience. But even so, this event sparked something. People who had never camped before came together. Around the fire, they cooked, shared meals, and found joyby simply being outside with others.

A quiet community began to grow—connected not by expertise, but by curiosity and warmth. Seeing people take their first steps into nature and share that joy reminded us why we do this.This is how we restore humanity—one fire, one shared meal, one story at a time.
