Our newest and largest camping shelter is our Land Lock. This grandiose durable shelter is a perfect replacement for that old gas hog RV or Camp Trailer. All who’ve owned an RV of some sort know of it’s consistent repairs and maintenance. All who’ve owned an RV know if it’s consistent need of repairs and maintenance. Each and every trip taken you cringe over the gas bill and long list of needed repairs you’ve encountered during your trip.

The Land Lock is finally the tent alternative you have been looking for. It combines living and sleeping spaces, provides the same sense of luxury without separating you from the camping experience, yet packs down into a space any vehicle can stow.

Living + Bedroom

In the past your tent where you slept was the only shelter you had from the pouring rain or scortching heat. This led us all to dread camping in anything but perfect conditions. The Land Lock delivers a tent that provides not only an area for sleeping but also a place to connect and enjoy with people; an open, spacious living area. Now camp ready to enjoy any unexpected weather and not feel confined to you tiny tent.

The Land Lock can be a large walled shelter or with its included easy clip in inner-tent it can be a Living + Bedroom space. The clip in tent is a  spacious 88 sq. ft. , large enough bedroom for four people. The inner tent has 3 large doors (2 front + 1 large rear) and 2 side windows that have built in bug screens. The inner tent features storage pockets as well as a gear clips on the roof for clipping your Hozuki Light.

The shelter has large windows with bug screens that can easily be opened to provide ample ventilation during the hot summer months. The front can be opened to provide a large canopy area to cook under or be closed to enjoy a large bug free environment in the evenings. In a more rainy or stormy environment the windows can be completely closed to create a large walled dry escape. The versatility of the Land Lock provides you with a luxurious living space that can only be characterized by the word Glamping.

(1) In the roof of the tent there are two vents that have been designed so they can be opened even in rainy conditions to provide proper ventilation but keep out the wet weather.

(2) To insure that the Land Lock will withstand even the harshest winds we’ve installed tie downs that secure to the poles with a simple velcro strap. Also we’ve sewn in straps that can be clipped in to add additional inner support during heavy winds.

We’ve drawn from our expertise in building tents and tarps and taken particular are to how we’ve sewn and tape our seems to insure waterproofness and durability

We’ve chosen some of the finest durable materials to insure that this shelter will last you for many seasons. For all the walls we’ve chosen a water resistant/repellent 150D Polyester ox fabric it’s coated with a water shielding pigment PU coating that protects to 3,000mm minimum, the beige fabrics have a 1,800 mm minimum. These fabrics make this shelter able to withstand the harsh weather but also allow it to be breathable. For structural support we use A6061 duralumin poles that are both durable and lightweight.

Pack-ability

For a 272 sq. ft. shelter we’ve been able to get it all down to two smaller bags. The question that remains, does your RV come with a lifetime warranty?
